Summary

Troops who mantained their own weapons were exempted from various fees. Towns were required to find certain edged weapons at their own cost.

Statutory Text

Whereas by order of the Council of war the towns of this jurisdiction respectivley are to find drums, pikes, halberts and coullers at their own charge; it is thought meet and accordingly ordered by the Court that all such troopers as find and mantain their own [text cuts off; margin note says it exempts them from town fee for common drums, arms etc]
