SECT. 8. And be it further ordained and enacted by the authority aforesaid, That no person or persons shall fire, or discharge any cannon, or piece of artillery, or small arms, or prove any pistol, gun, musket barrels, or cannon, or illuminate, or cause to be illuminated, any house within the regulated parts, incorporated as aforesaid, in said township, without permission from the president of the board of commissioners, under the penalty of forfeiting and paying for every piece of cannon or other artillery, or small arms, or pistol, gun, or musket barrel so fired, or house so illuminated, the sum of two dollars.
