Statutory Text

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Alabama in General Assembly convened, That the first section of the act to which this is an amendment be, and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That from and after the passage of this act it shall not be lawful for the corporation of the city of Mobile, or any person or persons, to receive or keep on storage in any building of any kind within the corporate limits of said city, unless the same be kept on one of the islands in the Mobile river or bay, any gunpowder or gun-cotton, or any explosive material, in larger quantities than fifty pounds.
