Statutory Text

SECT. 16. No person shall, except in the performance of some duty required by law, discharge any gun, pistol, or other fire arm, loaded with balls or shot, or with powder only, within the city, in or upon any street, lane, alley, public place, or wharf, or within fifty rods thereof, or within fifty rods of any building in the city, in any yard, garden or field therein.
