SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to fire any pistol, gun or other firearm within the limits of this city, unless it be on the occasion of a military parade, and then only by the order of an officer of a military company. Nor shall any person raise a kite or any like paper, or balloon, in the limits of the city. Any person violating any of the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be fined by the recorder not less than five nor more than fifty dollars. If the offense be committed by a slave, he shall receive such corporal punishment as shall be adjudged by the Recorder.
