Statutory Text

SEC. 18. That the said Board of Commissioners shall have the power annually to levy and ause to be collected, in the manner above prescribed, the following taxes, to-wit: […] [O]n all pistols, except when part of stock in trade, a tax not exceeding one dollar; on all dirks, bowie-knives and sword canes, if worn about the person at any time during the year, a tax not exceeding ten dollars.
