Statutory Text

SEC. 193. No member of the State Guard shall at any time sell, dispose of, convert to his own use, or employ for any private purpose whatsoever, any gun, pistol, sword, or other State arms or property entrusted to him, or in his possession; and any person violating this section, or who shall trade for, barter for, or purchase such arms or property, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor; and circuit judges shall at each regular or special term of their courts, give this act in special charge to the grand jury.
