Prohibited discharging a cannon or firearms within city limits without permission from the mayor.

Statutory Text

Sec. 426. No person shall fire or discharge any cannon, gun, fowling piece, pistol, or fire-arms of any description, or fire, explode, or set-off any squibs, cracker, or other thing containing powder or other combustible or explosive material, without permission from the mayor, which per mission shall limit the time of such firing, and shall be subject to be revoked by the mayor at any time after it has been granted. Any violation hereof, shall subject the party to a fine of not less than two nor more than ten dollars.
