Summary

Prohibited concealed carry, punishable by fine and confiscation. Prohibited giving or selling arms to minors below the age of 16.

Statutory Text

1. If any person carrying about his person, hid from common observation, any pistol, dirk, bowie-knife, razor, slung-shot, or any weapon of the like kind, he shall be fined not less than twenty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars; and any of such weapons mentioned shall be forfeited to the town. Nothing in this section shall apply to any officer of the town, county or state while in the discharge of his duty.

2. If any person sell, barter, give or furnish, or cause to be sold, bartered, given or furnished to any minor under sixteen years of age, cigarettes, or pistols, or dirks, or bowie knives, gaving good cause to believe him or her to be a minor under sixteen years of age, shall be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars.
