Summary

Prohibited firing guns in any city, town, or village in Montana, subjecting violators of the law to a fine up to $25.

Statutory Text

Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person to fire any gun, pistol or any fire-arm, of whatever description, within the limits of any town, city, or village in this territory, or within the limits of any private enclosure which shall contain a dwelling house.

Sec. 2. All persons violating this act shall be fined in any sum not less than five, nor more than twenty-five, dollars.

Sec. 3. That all fines collected under the provisions of this act shall be paid into the county treasury, for the benefit of the school fund.

Sec. 4. This act shall take effect from and after its passage.
