Summary

Prohibited giving any person under the age of 21 any pistol, dirk, bowie knife, slungshot, brass knuckle, or other deadly weapon that can be concealed about the person. Giving pistol ammunition was also prohibited.

Statutory Text

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, That it shall be unlawful for any person to sell, barter, or give to any other person, under the age of twenty-one years, any pistol, dirk, or bowie-knife, pistol. slung-shot, knucks, or other deadly weapon that can be worn, or carried, concealed upon or about the person, or to sell, barter, or give to any person, under the age of twentyone years, any cartridges manufactured and designed for use in a pistol.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That any person who shall violate any of the provisions of the foregoing section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not less than five dollars, nor more than fifty dollars.
