SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to shoot off, fire, or discharge any gun, pistol, revolver or any firearm of any description, or to fire, explode or set off any squib, firecracker, torpedo, roman candle, sky-rocket, or other thing containing powder or other explosive matter, or to throw any fire-ball or make any bon-fire in the corporate limits of this city, and that any person or persons violating the provisions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, on conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not less than one dollar nor more than one hundred dollars. Provided that this shall not apply to any licensed shooting gallery nor to the shooting of dogs running at large in violation of the city ordinances.
