SECTION 1. They shall have power to prevent injury or annoyance within the limits of the corporation from anything dangerous, offensive or unhealthy, and to cause any nuisance to be abated within the jurisdiction given to the Board of Health section six (6), to regulate the transportation and keeping of gunpowder, dynamite and other combustibles and to provide or license magazines for the same[.]
