SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to carry concealed about his person in any manner whatever, any revolver, pistol, or other firearm, or any knife (other than an ordinary pocket-knifle), or any dirk or dagger, slingshot or metal knuckles, or anly instrument by the use of which injury could be inflicted upon the person or property of any other person.
SEC. 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of section one of this act, shall be deeimed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than ten dollars nor more than two hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail not less than five days nor more than one hundred days, or by both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
SEC. 3. Nothing in this act shall be construed to apply to any sheriff, constable, police, or other peace officer, whose duty it is to serve, process or make arrests.
SEC. 4. Justices of the peace shall have concurrent jurisdiction to try any person or persons charged with violating any of the provisions of this act.
