Statutory Text

SECTION I. That section 929, of chapter 73, of the Code of Washington Territory, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: “Section 929. If any person shall carry upon his person any concealed weapon, consisting of either a revolver, pistol, or other firearms, or any knife other than an ordinary pocket knife or any dirk or dagger, sling shot or metal knuckles, or any instrument by the use of which injury could be inflicted upon the person or property of any other person, shall he deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be tined not less than tventy dollars, nor more than one hundred dollars, or imprisonment in the county jail not more than thirty days, or by both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court: Provided, That this section shall not apply to police officers and other persons whose duty it is to execute process or warrants or make arrests.[“]

SEC. 2. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval
