[A]nd the said board shall have further power and authority to regulate and license such business and vocations as are now licensed by the State, and others herein below named, and to revoke and cancel such licenses, and to punish all persons who do business in said city without having taken out such licenses and to impose and collect such licenses upon the persons and businesses herein after named; not to exceed the amounts fixed by the State upon like persons and business, to-wit: […]
