Prohibited the open and concealed carry of swords, sword canes, dirks, pistols, and other deadly weapons.

Statutory Text

SECTION 1. That it is unlawful for any person, except United States olicials, officials of Idaho Territory, County officials, Peace officers, Guards of any jail, and officers or employees of any Express Company on duty, carry, exhibit or flourish any dirk, dirk-knife, sword, sword-cane, pistol, gun or other-deadly weapons, within the linits or confines of any city, town or village or in any public assembly of Idaho Territory. Every person so doing is guilty of a misdemeanor and is punishable by fine not less than fifty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not less than twenty days nor more than fifty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

SEC. 2. One half of all fines collected under the provisions of this act shall be paid to the oflicer making the arrest, which amount shall be payment in full for his services. The other one half shall he paid into the Common School Fund of the county, after deducting the necessary costs of the prosecution of the case.

SEC. 3. All acts or parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
