SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 92 of the Public Statutes is hereby amended so as to read as follows:

“SECTION 1. Every person who shall discharge any rifle, gun, musket, blunderbuss, fowling piece, pistol, air gun, spring gun, or other contrivance arranged to discharge shot, bullets, arrows, darts, or other missiles in or across any road, street square, or lane shall be fined not less than three dollars nor more than twenty dollars.”

SEC. 2. Section 3 of said Chapter 92 is hereby amended so as to read as follows:

“SEC. 3. Every person not being at the time under military duty, who shall discharge any rifle, gun, musket, blunderbuss, fowling piece, pistol, air gun, spring gun, or other small arms, or any contrivance arranged to discharge shot, bullets, arrows, darts or other missiles, except upon land owned or occupied by him, or by permission of the owner or occupant of the land on or onto which he may shoot, within the compact part of any town or city, or not being at the time on military duty shall anywhere discharge any of such arms or contrivances on Sunday, shall be fined not exceeding twenty dollars.”
