Statutory Text

SECTION 8. Any person excepting peace officers and travelers, who shall carry concealed upon his person any pistol or firearm, slungshot, dirk or bowie-knife, or other deadly weapon, without a written permission (revocable at any time) from the president of the board of trustees, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

SECTION 9. Any person who shall carry on his person, or have in his possession, any slungshot or instrument, or other thing commonly used or which may be used for throwing any shot, bullet, rock, stone or other missile, or in any manner use the same to the danger of persons or property in said city, is guilty of a a misdemeanor.
