Brandishing weapon in a manner not necessary for self-defence was prohibited.

Statutory Text

SECTION 1. If any person, having or carrying any dirk, dirk-knife, sword, sword-cane, gun, pistol, or other deadly weapon, shall in the presence of one or more persons exhibit the same, in a rude, careless, angry or threatening manner, not in necessary self-defence, the person so offending shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by imprisonment not exceeding three months, or by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect upon its approval by the Governor.
