Made it illegal to discharge a gun on a train or at any picnic except for self defense.

Statutory Text

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assemibly of Georgia, That from and after the passage of this Act it shall be unlawful for any person to fire any pistol, gun or other firearm on any excursion train, or at any picnic, except in his or her defense.

Sec 2. be it further enacted, That any violation of this Act shall be a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished as prescribed in section 1039 of the Criminal Code of Georgia of 1895.

Sec 3. Be it further enacted, That all laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
