Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly charge of of Alabama, That it shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any gun, pistol, or other firearm, except in self defense, while on a passenger train in this State; or to recklessly handle any firearm or other weapon in the presence of any other person or persons on any train carrying passengers in this State.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That any person guilty of either of the offenses described in the first section of this act, shall, upon doinviction, be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not exceeding twelve months, one or both, at the discretion of the Court.
